WWE GRR Opening Match Result: John Cena vs. Triple H

Today’s WWE Greatest Royal Rumble event opened with John Cena vs. Triple H, their first meeting in the ring in eight years. After ‘The Cerebral Assassin’ controlled a majority of the action early on, Cena was able to find some offense locking in the STF and hitting an Attitude Adjustment, neither of which could put ‘The Game’ away. ‘The King of Kings’ would hit a Pedigree in return that failed to finish it, Cena would come back with another STF, but it was countered into a crossface. ‘The Leader of the Cenation’ would power out for a second AA, then catapult Triple H into the corner before hitting a third to put it away.
