WWE News: Former Impact Star Backstage Last Night

It was reported by WWE on their official Twitter account that boxing legend Evander Holyfield was backstage at Smackdown last night.

The tweet was retweeted by former Impact Wrestling star Elijah Burke aka Da Pope D’Angelo Dinero who was also backstage at SmackDown. There is no word yet on if he was just their to visit friends or looking to make a return to the company.

Burke hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since 2008. The last time Burke was on TV he was working as an announcer/part time wrestler for Impact Wrestling. Burke announced his departure from the coming in mid August of 2017.  Burke is also currently a trainer in OVW and is said to be very active in the company. According to Burke’s official Twitter account he caught up with Kofi Kingston. Checkout the tweet below:
