Saudi Arabia will play host to the WWE for their Greatest Royal Rumble Event. This will take place this Friday at 12pm EST with a one hour preshow. The show is expected to go five hours long and features Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns for the Universal Title.

This event has been extremely controversial due to women not being allowed to wrestle at the event. HHH has commented on this situation and the event itself. We even droppted an article earlier today with a perspective from a Saudi citizen.

There is now new information on how much the WWE will be paid for the event. Per @PWStream the WWE is expected to make somewhere between $100 and $200 million for the event. You can see their tweet below:

I can say that I have spoken to someone else regarding this and they have heard the same numbers. If this is true, this is a massive payday for WWE and why the card is so stacked. Earlier in the day the a photo was leaked of the floor seats for the event and they are quite extravagant:

My Thoughts:

This is truly incredible if it is confirmed true. As I said I have heard from another source that has stated the same information. The WWE is proving to be an absolute money maker all over the world. I wouldn’t be surprised if the WWE makes this an annual event and even has other countries bidding for these types of special events. Considering the WWE current TV Deal is for $350 million dollars, that shows the gravity of this payday.
