All In News: All In Sells Out In 30 Minutes
As the 4PM EST release of tickets for the Cody and Young Bucks funded All In event approaching earlier today, buzz for the show continued to increase immediately after a press conference that announced the show would also see an NWA World Title defense, as well as the addition of Rey Mysterio (for press conference highlights go here).
Many fans who looked to procure their seats for the September 1st event ran into troubles online, as the server was overloaded with requests and couldn’t handle the workload:
If you’re having trouble scoring tickets online because of heavy traffic, you can also dial 1-888-732-7784. Thanks!

According to F4WOnline, tickets for the show officially sold out in about a half-an-hour, making it the first independent show in the United States to hit the 10,000 sold mark.

Our Greg DeMarco did some rooting around of his own, finding that there are less than 250 tickets still available.
EA’s Take: After my Celtics picked up a huge win today, I dozed off and missed an enormous internal debate amongst The Chairshot staff on this. Great reading material for when I awoke from my slumber and lots of great points on the subject. This is obviously a huge success in terms of tickets sales for Cody and The Bucks, but there are a few things you have to wonder. How many of these tickets went to scalpers? How much money are these guys pouring into this? What’s their profit margin? All questions we don’t know the answers to. Regarding how many went to resellers, there are already tickets being listed for sale at 10-times face value on various sites, so there’s certainly some of that. It will be interesting to see how many of those go and if people really want to be at the show bad enough to pay the prices that are being asked. As for profit, this is really tough to tell because so much is going into the show, but at the same time, almost all tickets are gone and they always rake on merchandise. If this is successful, it will open the door for more shows like it and give the ability to raise those low ticket prices due to demand. That’s the ultimate goal here, to build something outside of WWE in the US, so for your first venture if you break even, I’d call that a quality first step. However, Cody and The Bucks are damn smart businessmen, so would they go into this thinking they wouldn’t make money? It’s possible, but I don’t think so.
