WWE News: SmackDown Live Women’s Star Earns Spot In MITB Ladder Match

After The Miz defeated Jeff Hardy in an excellent opening contest on SmackDown Live to qualify for the Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match, the ladies had their opportunity next as Charlotte Flair took on Peyton Royce with Billie Kay in her corner. The IIconics used their gift of gab to verbally abuse ‘The Queen’ prior to the bell, giving Flair more motivation to shut Peyton up. That’s exactly what happened in the opening stages of the match, but after coming back from a commercial, Peyton had taken over after a shot into the ring post outside. To nobody’s surprise, Billie would get involved and give Peyton an opening to take back over after Charlotte had turned the tide. The numbers advantage wouldn’t be enough for Peyton, as ‘The Queen’ would slap on the Figure Eight to advance to Money In The Bank.
