MLW News: Multiple Talents Signed To Contracts
With WWE reportedly looking to lock up a number of independent talents in the United Kingdom among others (find that here), it looks like they’re not the only promotion in the United States trying to get some performers to sign on the dotted line.
SEScoops is reporting that Major League Wrestling has signed a number of the talent that have been performing for them on MLW Fusion, their television program on beIN Sports every Friday night. MLW contracts are similar to that of Impact Wrestling, giving their talents the freedom to work for other promotions that do not have a television or streaming show. Whereas in WWE, this is of course not the case. According to SES, the names below have all been signed to MLW deals:
- Shane Strickland
- Jimmy Havoc
- Aria Blake
- Barrington Hughes
- Salina de la Renta
- Maxwell Jacob Friedman
- ‘Filthy’ Tom Lawlor
