NJPW News: Chris Jericho Goes Ballistic Backstage
As it was reported yesterday, Chris Jericho made his return to New Japan Pro Wrestling at their Wrestling Dontaku event in Fukuoka, Japan (which you can read here). ‘Y2J’ was dressed as a fan under a mask, ambushing IWGP Intercontinental Champion Tetsuya Naito, before revealing himself and leaving Naito bloodied after a shot with the ring bell.
A video has now surfaced on Twitter with more footage from Jericho’s tirade. The following is the aftermath of the attack on Naito, as Jericho would go ballistic backstage before taking his leave from the building:
