NJPW News: Rey Mysterio Announced For Dominion
With former multiple time WWE Champion Chris Jericho making his return to New Japan Pro Wrestling last week at Wrestling Dontaku, the likely outcome is that Jericho will face IWGP Intercontinental Champion Tetsuya Naito at Dominion on June 9th in Osaka, Japan. In addition to ‘Y2J’ and a 2/3 Falls Match between Kenny Omega and IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada, another former WWE Champion will now also be competing.
NJPW’s Twitter account has announced that Rey Mysterio will be making his return to a New Japan ring, however no opponent has been named yet. Mysterio previously was scheduled to face Jushin Thunder Liger at Strong Style Evolved back on March 25th, but was unable to compete due to an injury.
