NJPW News: Young Bucks’ Nick Jackson Addresses Possible WWE Jump
It’s certainly not breaking news that one of the hottest acts outside of the WWE over the past handful of years has been Matt and Nick Jackson, The Young Bucks. The Bucks have seemingly set the template for independent performers with their business acumen, accruing excellent pay for themselves without having to make their way to Stamford, Connecticut.
Despite this, fans are always wanting more, wondering when we could see the proprietors of the ‘Superkick Party’ sign with the WWE. A fan posed this question to Nick today on Twitter:
Not possible right now we have 6 months left on our current contracts. Never say never but we’re very happy with what we’re doing. https://t.co/kRpsGZ0DvT

EA’s Take: Do I think it would be cool for The Bucks to sign with WWE? Of course. Am I tired of talking about it? Absolutely. These guys have everything on lock right now. They make their own schedule, run their own merchandise, maximize their profits…oh yeah, plus there’s that big event coming on September 1st you may have heard of. Seems to me like they’re leading the revolution for talents outside of WWE and they’re pretty happy. I could see them signing with WWE someday, but it’s going to take a lot of money and concessions by the company. I’m not certain they’re ready to do that either.
