WWE News: Charges Against Enzo Amore Dropped

In some breaking news today, former WWE Superstar and Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore, real name Eric Arndt, has posted a statement from his attorney that all charges against him stemming from allegations back in January have been dropped. Arndt was suspended by WWE and subsequently released after claims surfaced about an incident in November 2017 where Arndt allegedly he sexually assaulted a young woman, Philomena Sheehan. According to the statement below, Phoenix Police informed Arndt and his legal team that there is insufficient evidence:

EA’s Take: This is pretty touchy so I’ll try and approach it as lightly as possible, however nothing about this surprises me. Regardless of whether you like Enzo as a person, performer or whatever, his accuser’s history was going to make it very difficult for any prosecutor to move forward. Do I think he did it? Personally, I do not, but what do I know? About as much as you. All I can do is go off the evidence, which there has always been a lack of since this all started. Do I think he ever returns to WWE? Never say never, but boy, that sure is a long shot right now.
