WWE News: Charlotte Flair To Undergo Surgery, When It May Happen

After winning a qualifying match last night on SmackDown Live to earn a spot in the Money In The Bank Ladder Match, things seemed to be moving forward for WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair after unsuccessfully challenging for the SmackDown Women’s Title at Backlash on Sunday. Today, that “moving forward” looks like it will be coming to a stop, at least briefly.

PWInsider is reporting that Charlotte will be undergoing surgery in the near future, as one of her breast implants has ruptured and needs repair. At this time, it isn’t known if the rupture was caused by something in the ring or if there were other circumstances. Additionally, one source indicated to PWInsider that ‘The Queen’ likely will be going under-the-knife following next week’s European Tour.

EA’s Take: What’s with all the booby news lately? Peyton and Billie, Alexa and now Charlotte? All kidding aside, if she is in-fact waiting until after the European Tour, that leads me to believe its not anything serious. If it were, she would be having that surgery immediately. Also, I think that would indicate that she’ll be ready in time for Money In The Bank on June 17th as well. We recently just saw Bliss out of action for around a month-ish for a reported breast augmentation, so I’d anticipate the recovery time is the same barring any complications.
