WWE News: Latest On Dean Ambrose’s Whereabouts

It has been quite some time since we’ve heard any kind of news regarding WWE RAW Superstar Dean Ambrose in his recovery from surgery. ‘The Lunatic Fringe’ suffered a triceps tear last December and was subsequently written off of television after an injury angle with Samoa Joe. At the time, Ambrose had been teaming with Seth Rollins and was also feuding with The Bar.

It was first thought that Dean would be out for up to nine months, however a lot of fans held out hope that he could be back in time for WrestleMania back on April 9th. Of course, that didn’t come to fruition and Ambrose was removed from all of his scheduled appearances that weekend (which can be found here). Rumors swirled that Dean may have suffered a setback in his recovery, however that was never confirmed.

According to PWInsider today, the former WWE Champion is essentially living in Birmingham, Alabama right now, as he continues his rehabilitation. There’s currently still no word on when he will return.

EA’s Take: I know some will disagree with me, but I have no qualms about Ambrose being gone. Personally, I felt that he had been stale for quite some time and I know this isn’t exactly the ideal way to come back refreshed, I believe that’s what will happen. I also think he’d benefit greatly from a heel turn upon his arrival because I’ve always felt that was how he worked best.
