WWE News: First SmackDown Live Superstar Qualifies For MITB

Tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live kicked off with General Manager Paige, welcoming us to the show and talking about what we’ll see this evening, more specifically qualifying matches for Money In The Bank on June 17th. Our first qualifier would immediately follow as United States Champion Jeff Hardy went toe-to-toe with The Miz, a match that saw both men get their shots in with Hardy controlling the action early. ‘The A-Lister’ would slow the frenetic pace of the champion, taking the fight to the outside of the ring. Jeff would show he could use his surroundings just the same, if not better, however the cagey Miz would find his way back into the fight yet again. Hardy finally was able to connect on the Swanton Bomb and make the cover, but ‘The A-Lister’ surprised him with a roll-up to steal the win.
