WWE News: Legendary Tag Team Backstage At Backlash
With WWE Backlash just a mere hours away from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, a report has surfaced that a legendary tag team is backstage at the event. According to PWInsider, Christian and WWE Hall Of Famer Edge at in the building for the show, but there’s no confirmation on if they will be appearing or not.
Edge and Christian have not appeared on WWE television since the Hall Of Fame over WrestleMania Weekend when they inducted The Dudley Boyz. Recently, the dup filmed season two of their WWE Network series ‘The Edge & Christian Show That Totally Reeks Of Awesomeness’, making it likely that they are filming content for the program.
EA’s Take: While it’s entirely possible they appear on Backlash, I can’t imagine what on Earth you would be doing with them unless it was part of the Kickoff Panel, but that likely would have been promoted by now. I think it’s safe to say that they’re just working on something for The E&C Show.
