WWE News: Trial For WWE Doctor’s Suit Against CM Punk Delayed
On top of his next UFC fight at UFC 225 against Mike Johnson on June 9th, today marked another big date for former WWE Superstar CM Punk. Last week, it was noted that WWE Doctor Chris Amann’s lawsuit against Punk and Colt Cabana was set to begin trial today (which you can read here). Dave Meltzer speculated on Wrestling Observer Radio that it could be pushed back due to Punk’s fight being right around the corner and today, it looks like that is what has happened.
According to Austin Kellerman (@AKonWrestling on Twitter), court documents showed that today’s 10:00AM court date has been moved:

Timing would've been tough for Punk given training schedule for upcoming UFC fight.

Of course, Amann is suing Punk and Cabana after Punk alleged he was not treated for injuries properly by WWE on Cabana’s The Art Of Wrestling Podcast back in 2014.
