WWE News: Triple H Reveals UK Announcements Coming

As it was reported roughly a month ago, the WWE United Kingdom Division will be returning to England at Royal Albert Hall in London for another UK Championship Tournament (which you can read here). The event will take place over two days on June 18th and 19th, the winner of the tournament receiving a title shot on day two (which you can read here).

WWE COO Triple H recently spoke with Mirror Sports out of the UK, revealing that there will be some announcements regarding the future of the United Kingdom Division as a whole:

“While we are there at this UK event at the Royal Albert Hall, we will be making some announcements about the future of the UK Championship brand there in the UK and moving forward,” Triple H said. “That brand still remains very near and dear to me and it’s something I want to move on. It’s taking a little bit longer than I anticipated in getting things done and getting them done in the way I want them to get done … but it’s happening. It will be meaningful to everybody there and I look forward to showcasing the UK talent to the world.”

As it was previously noted, WWE’s long-term plans also include having Performance Centers based in various locations around the world, including the United Kingdom (which you can read here).
