WWE Results: SmackDown Live Main Event Winner Heading To MITB

Tonight’s main event on SmackDown Live was another qualifier for the Money In The Bank Ladder Match as Daniel Bryan battled Rusev with Aiden English in his corner. Bryan was able to connect early with quick offense that sent ‘The Lion of Bulgaria’ to the outside, but when Daniel tried a suicide dive, he got caught and launched over the announce table. Rusev utilized his size and power to slow down Bryan, but the former WWE Champion showed the fight that has earned him the adoration of the fans. ‘The Bulgarian Brute’ would thwart off the attack and look for The Accolade, but some damage to his arm earlier in the match wouldn’t allow it and he’d barely be able to escape a Yes Lock with the help of the ropes. Daniel lined Rusev up for the Running Knee, however Aiden would pull his partner out of harm’s way, only to pay for it at the hands of Bryan. The former-WWE Champion again would try the Running Knee, but would instead get surprised by one of his own, then dropped by a Machka Kick for ‘The Lion of Bulgaria’ to score the surprising victory.
