WWE Rumors: Possible Heat On Big Cass For Going Against Orders?

After having his biggest singles match of his career this past Sunday at Backlash, WWE Superstar Big Cass was noticeably absent from this week’s edition of SmackDown Live. A bit puzzling since he would come out on the losing end against Daniel Bryan at Backlash, but would leave him laying after.

According to ProWrestlingSheet, Cass has reportedly garnered some backstage heat after going off-script last week on SmackDown Live. It’s being said that the segment with Big Cass that featured a little person dressed as Daniel Bryan went according to plan, however the seven-footer requested to continue the beat down after hitting ‘Little Bryan’ with a big boot. That request was subsequently denied, however Cass went through with it anyway, delivering punches to ‘Little Bryan’ following the big boot. Additionally, it was added that people backstage were said to be very unhappy with his actions, but it’s not known if this is the reason for him missing SmackDown this week.

EA’s Take: I do find it odd that nothing was really mentioned of Cass’ beat down of Bryan on SmackDown, outside of commentary saying it had an effect in his loss to Rusev. The one thing that I don’t get is why Cass would just directly disobey orders like that when he’s getting a solid push. Logically, it makes little sense.
