WWE Rumors: Vince McMahon Is Extremely Frustrated With Kevin Owens’ Weight

Kevin Owens signed with WWE back in 2014 and made his NXT TV debut at NXT TakeOver: R Evolution. Owens would go on to beat CJ Parker then powerbomb his best friend Sami Zayn on the ring apron after he defeated Neville for the NXT Championship. In May of 2015 at TakeOver: Unstoppable Kevin Owens defeated Sami for the title and would go on to debut on the main roster. Since his main roster debuted he has become one of the top heels of the company. He has feuded with top guys like AJ Styles, Shane McMahon, John Cena, and Chris Jericho. Owens has also gone on to win every singles title there is to win in WWE minus the WWE Championship.

According to  WrestlingRumors.net, Vince McMahon is extremely frustrated with Kevin Owens. The rumor goes that Vince has told Kevin on multiple occasions to lose the weight or he would lose his spot as a top heel.

Ja’Von’s Take: I 100% believe that this is a rumor that has no merit to it at all. The last time that we heard something like this was the Mike Kanillis situation. When Mike and Maria signed with WWE he was in a bad place both physically and mentally. Since then he has turned his life around. But to think that Kevin Owens would lose his spot on something ridiculous as this is ludicrous. Owens was Universal Champion for seven months and multiple time Intercontinental and United States Champion so I don’t see how him not losing the weight would affect his spot. Even if he did lose the weight I don’t see how it would affect his character or his wrestling style. As always take every rumor with a grain of salt and always use your head.
