All In News: Don Callis Added, Will The Event Be Broadcast?

There’s been a lot of wonder from fans regarding the upcoming September 1st All In event being produced by Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks, not only surrounding whether former WWE Superstar CM Punk will appear, but also if the show will be broadcast in any fashion. While Cody has previously stated that there’s nothing in place for the event to air, a few weeks back he did tease that he had some big meetings coming up with no indication as to what said meetings were for.

Today, John Pollock of Post Wrestling reported that The Young Bucks had extended an invitation to Impact Wrestling’s Don Callis. The Wrestling Observer would later add that following their match at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Dominion, the new IWGP Tag Team Champions went over to Callis (who was on commentary for NJPW World) to make the offer. It’s also being said that this means the show will either be broadcast live or released later on DVD.

EA’s Take: I really think taping All In for a DVD is the best way to go this first time around. A live pay-per-view broadcast may be too much of an undertaking, but it remains to be seen if Cody and The Bucks will be getting some help either. If I was Sinclair/Ring Of Honor, I’d be offering to help get this thing on the air in exchange for a small cut.
