While it still remains to be seen if WWE Superstar and reigning Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will be making his way back to the UFC when his WWE deal runs out, reportedly right after SummerSlam.

Recently, UFC President Dana White spoke about the chances of Lesnar’s return to the octagon, stating that there was interest from both camps regarding a possible Brock vs. Jon Jones fight (which you can read here). This has led the sports betting site Bovada to release some very early odds should the fight take place.

According to Bovada, Jon ‘Bones’ Jones opens as the favorite at -350, whereas ‘The Beast Incarnate’ would be the underdog at +260. What this means is that a $350 bet on Jones would only earn you a profit of $100.

Of course, there are a lot of barriers preventing the possible fight as Brock still has some months left on his USADA suspension stemming from failed tests prior to his last UFC fight, a victory against Mark Hunt that has since been stripped and changed to a ‘No Contest’. Lesnar also would have to re-enter the USADA testing pool.

Jones also has his own problems currently, as he’s suspended at this time.

EA’s Take: I don’t see this fight taking place because of both guys’ current situations, mostly because Jones’ suspension is lengthy and will likely keep him out for another year. The most likely opponents for Brock should he return, which I believe he will in some fashion, would be a bout against Stipe Miocic or maybe even a rematch against Daniel Cormier. Plus, Brock HAS TO get himself back in that testing pool and only has about ten more days to do so if he wants to fight by the end of the year.
