Ja’Von’s Weekly IMPACT Wrestling YouTube Report (6/28/18)

This week’s episode of IMPACT on Pop featured the debut of former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann, Madison Rayne vs. Tessa Blanchard in the main event and the return of former Knockouts Champion Allie.

This week’s episode also brought in a record year low in terms of viewership (You can check out that out here).

1. Rich Swann makes his Impact debut vs Trevor Lee: 172K views
2. Pentagon Jr. UNMASKED By Sami Callihan: 161K views
3. Su Yung and her Undead Bridesmaids Assault Madison Rayne: 92K views
4. Desi Hit Squad makes IMPACT Debut vs Z & E: 57K views
5. Kongo Kong & Matt Sydal CRUSH Brian Cage: 44K views.

When looking at the top 5 this week on YouTube, Rich Swann and Sami Callihan were the biggest draws. Everyone seems to be drawn to what Swann is going to be bring to the company and are very intrigued in anything oVe related. In terms of overall views, this seems to be right where you would expect IMPACT to be. The previously mentioned Swann came in at number one this week because people know him from his WWE run and I think that he is going to be doing amazing things in the X-Division.

Sami Callihan is the best thing going for Impact and wrestling today he is one of the top heels in the industry and him unmasking Pentagon Jr. is a HUGE deal. At first I didn’t have any interest in The Desi Hit Squad and maybe that’s because I’m not a fan of Indian wrestling but they really impressed me this week in their win over former tag champions Z & E. Su Yung continues to do her thing and pulls in the views. The X-Division title picture seems to be getting some new faces with Kongo Kong and Brain Cage stepping up to the plate. Overall this was a decent week for Impact with a small spike.
