WWE News: Competitors Advance To Quarterfinals Of UK Championship Tournament
As has been noted, today marked the beginning of the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament with the action kicking off at Download Fest in England. Four matches were held with the winners advancing to the United Kingdom Championship Tournament tapings on June 18th and 19th at Royal Albert Hall. The eventual winner of the tournament will be receiving a UK Championship match against the titleholder, Pete Dunne. As was previously reported, this will be airing on the WWE Network June 25th and 26th for days one and two respectively.
Here are the winners from today’s action who will move on to the Quarterfinals:
- Ashton Smith defeated Joseph Conners
- Flash Morgan Webster defeated James Drake
- Zack Gibson defeated Amir Jordan
- Travis Banks defeated Ligero
