WWE News: Report On How Long Shinsuke Nakamura Will Be Out Of Action

As we know by now, WWE SmackDown Live Superstar Shinsuke Nakamura is dealing with one of the stranger injuries you’ll hear about, which has forced him to miss the company’s current events in his home country of Japan (for day one results from Tokyo go here, then here for day two results).

Of course this past week while in Bakersfield, California for a Live Event, police did a a typical explosives sweep of the backstage area using a K-9, which then lead to an encounter where ‘The King Of Strong Style’ was bitten on the lower left leg in an incident where that was unprovoked. Shinsuke’s was subsequent pulled from the show and sent to a local hospital, then was forced to also miss his scheduled title match on Tuesday’s SmackDown Live against United States Champion Jeff Hardy.

No details have been given on how long Nakamura will be out of action, that is until today. Nikkan Sports (Japan) spoke with ‘The Artist’ to talk about the incident, but also revealed that he will be back in the ring in two weeks. Shinsuke would state (roughly translated) that he could imagine the situation he was in ever happening, calling it a “nightmare”. He would also speak on his heel turn at WrestleMania 34 this year, saying there was a lot of trial and error that lead up to it. Shinsuke also vowed to be back when WWE returns next to Japan.
