WWE News: This Week’s Something Else To Wrestle Postponed

Since its arrival to the WWE Network, Something Else To Wrestle With Bruce Prichard and Conrad Thompson has become one of the Network’s most popular programs. The spin-off of the Something To Wrestle Podcast gives fans an inside look into Prichard’s tenure with the WWE, mostly spent as part of WWE Chairman Vince McMahon’s inner circle. To date, the show has covered ‘The Million Dollar Man’ Ted DiBiase, Shawn Michaels, John Cena and Roddy Piper among other topics.

Released every Wednesday evening, today Conrad took to Twitter to reveal that this week’s episode has been postponed until Friday over “creative differences”:

Heads up @PrichardShow fans! No #SomethingElseToWrestle on the @WWENetwork today. @bruceprichard and I shot the show this past weekend but “creative differences” are going to keep us off the air today. I’m fighting for us, the fans. Tune in this Friday for WWE’s ECW. pic.twitter.com/8EBqRhIRR9

EA’s Take: While the inevitable question of “Is this a work?” has already come up, I don’t see it that way. There was a lot of wondering when it was revealed that this show was coming to WWE Network due to its nature of not holding back on criticizing the company or foul language. I’ve been told that the podcast version of this episode put a lot of blame on Vince McMahon for the failure of the ECW reboot, so I’d imagine there was either some or a lot of that being edited out.
