WWE Rumors: WWE PC Trainer’s Stepdaughter Reportedly Offered Contract
With the WWE seemingly in a frenzy to sign independent talents (you can find that here) and possibly even trying to sign contracted wrestlers (check that story out here), there’s talk today that another signing may have taken place.
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Xia Brookside may have been offered a WWE contract, as well as a spot in the 2018 Mae Young Classic which will be taking place reportedly on August 8th and 9th (for the tapings). Brookside has three years under her belt and is also the stepdaughter of WWE Performance Center trainer, Robbie Brookside. The 19-year old has worked for promotions such as DEFIANT Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Ulster and STARDOM among others and squared off against stars such as Tenille Dashwood, Io Shirai and Joey Ryan.
The Observer adds that Brookside was scheduled for a number of dates this Summer which have since been cancelled with no reason given. Reportedly, talents that WWE has offered contracts to have been told to not tell anyone that they are about to sign.
