Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann has been in headlines recently for the past couple of months. He was released from WWE in February of this year due to a domestic violence dispute with his wife and current IMPACT Knockouts Champion Su Yung, and that he signed with IMPACT in June( read about it here).

Rich Swann made his IMPACT debut on the June 21st epiosde where he defeated Trevor Lee in his in-ring debut. In the following weeks Swann would have a must see and talk about match with Lucha Underground’s own Fenix. He also had another huge six man tag match with Pentagon Jr and Fenix losing to oVe.

Swann was scheduled to take part in an international fatal four way at Slammiversary a couple of weeks ago but unfortunately he wasn’t medically cleared after suffering a concussion the Friday before the PPV( read about it here).

IMPACT announced today via twitter that Swann has signed a Long-term deal with the company. You cabmn checkout the announcement below:

Ja’Von’s Take: This is great news for IMPACT as a whole. Things have been going great for the company and they are coming off a fantastic PPV. Swann is an amazing talent and would a great asset to any wrestling promotion. I believe that there are great things in Rich Swann’s future and has finally found himself again since being released from WWE earlier this year. I can see Swann doing amazing things things in the X-Division. I predict that Swann will be a champion in IMPACT by the end of 2019.
