Wrestling Legend Brickhouse Brown Passes Away At 57

So much bad news today coming on the heels of the passing of WWE Hall Of Famer Nikolai Volkoff and former WWE Superstar Brian Lawler, as it has also been reported that Brickhouse Brown has passed at the age of 57.

Previously, it was reported that Brickhouse had passed away back on July 20th after flatlining and being pronounced deceased by the nurse at the hospice where he was being cared for. However, it was later revealed that Brown came to and began speaking with his mother, who was sleeping at his side. Today, F4WOnline is confirming that after a long battle with cancer, Brickhouse is now deceased.

Brown was a fixture in for Joe Blanchard’s Southwest Championship Wrestling from 1982-1987, after initially having no training. He was later schooled by WWE Hall Of Famer Terry Funk, then made the move to Memphis where he was probably most known for his battles with Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler under the watch of Jerry Jarrett, the father of WWE Hall Of Famer Jeff Jarrett. Among his accomplishments, Brown is a former CWA World Heayweight Champion, as well as a former WCCW Texas Heavyweight Champion.

Brickhouse remained active on the independent scene up until 2017 when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer that April.
