WWE News: Bray Wyatt Injured In Car Accident This Weekend

With the WWE Superstars of the red brand on tour this past weekend in North and South Dakota prior to tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW in Sioux Falls, RAW Tag Team Champion Bray Wyatt was noticeably absent from the events. His partner in The Deleters Of Worlds, Matt Hardy, was instead in singles action on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, picking up victories over Mojo Rawley at each of the shows.

While it was not known why ‘The Eater Of Worlds’ Bray Wyatt did not appear, it’s not unusual for some Superstars to intermittently miss Live Events for various reasons. However today, WWE has announced that Wyatt was involved in a head-on car accident Friday while making his way to the airport for the first show in Rapid City, South Dakota. According to WWE, Bray’s car was totaled and he was treated at Tampa General Hospital for unspecified injuries before being released.

Wyatt is currently scheduled to defend the RAW Tag Titles with Hardy at Extreme Rules in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on July 15th and at this time, it’s not known if he will be cleared to compete for the event. It should also be noted that WWE has confirmed that Bray will not be on hand for Monday Night RAW tonight.
