WWE News: NXT Live Event Results From Las Vegas, Nevada (7/28/18)

With the roster for WWE’s NXT split-up this weekend, the younger crop of Superstars remained in the brand’s home state of Florida for Live Events while the majority of its top stars headed west. After shows in San Diego on Thursday night (find results here) and then in Riverside, California Friday evening (check those results out here), last night they traveled to Sin City, Las Vegas.

Among the action, fans in attendance were treated to an NXT Championship match as new titleholder Tommaso Ciampa defended against the former champ Aleister Black, The Velveteen Dream went one-on-one with NXT’s ‘Top One Percent’ in EC3, on top of an NXT Women’s Title contest and The Undisputed Era. Below are the results:

• Brennan Williams defeated Marcel Barthel
• Lars Sullivan defeated Tyler Breeze
• Johnny Gargano & Heavy Machinery defeated The Undisputed Era
• NXT Women’s Title: Shayna Baszler retained over Candice LeRae
• EC3 defeated The Velveteen Dream
• NXT Title: Tommaso Ciampa retained over Aleister Black
