WWE News: NXT Star Surprise Appearance At Tonight’s SmackDown Live Event

With Monday Night RAW currently ongoing at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, WWE’s Superstars of the blue brand are on the road to tomorrow’s episode of SmackDown Live in Manchester, New Hampshire. Tonight, Smackdown is in Augusta, Maine, where fans in attendance got a nice surprise as part of the card.

NXT Superstar Nikki Cross appeared unannounced to team up with Becky Lynch against The IIconics. Following her recent loss to NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler at TakeOver: Chicago II, it was speculated by many fans that perhaps Nikki would be headed to the main roster. At this time, it’s not known if this was Cross making her main roster debut or just a one-off, however it is interesting that she was not involved with the other members of SAnitY:
