WWE News: Ruby Riott Injured At Live Event Over The Weekend

As we’ve noted, WWE was on tour over the weekend with the Superstars of RAW, beginning Friday evening in Rapid City, South Dakota (go here for results), then continuing Saturday in Bismarck (results found here) and last night in Fargo, North Dakota (check those results here) before hitting the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls tonight for Monday Night RAW.

On Friday, fans in attendance got to see Women’s Divison action as Dana Brooke went one-on-one against The Riott Squad’s leader, Ruby Riott, and got the win even with Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan at ringside. Saturday and Sunday, Ruby was on the sidelines as Logan and Morgan teamed up to face ‘The Queen Of Harts’ Natalya and ‘The Huggable One’ Bayley, coming out on the losing end both nights. It now looks like Ruby was not in action for a good reason.

Following today’s news that RAW Tag Team Champion Bray Wyatt was injured in a car crash Friday (find that story here), WWE has now announced that Ruby Riott suffered an injury to her left knee against Dana Brooke that same night. While no specifics on the injury were given, WWE did note that Ruby was sent for an MRI earlier on in the day and that more details would be released when available.
