WWE News: Shinsuke Nakamura’s Return Announced For Big SmackDown Live Match

There’s no denying that WWE Superstar Shinsuke Nakamura has to have one of the more odd injury stories in recent history. ‘The King Of Strong Style’ has of course been out of action since being bitten by a police dog during a sweep of the backstage area prior to a Live Event in Bakersfield, California On June 25th (to read about that go here).

Shinsuke was next seen during SmackDown Live’s brief tour of Japan, making appearances at the events using a crutch. He would also speak to Nikkan Sports during the trip, stating that he would be back in action in a couple of weeks (check that out here) and was then subsequently scheduled for this Sunday’s Extreme Rules in a United States Title match against Jeff Hardy (find that here).

Today, WWE announced that on tomorrow’s episode of SmackDown Live from the SNHU Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire, Nakamura will return to the ring when he takes on WWE Champion AJ Styles:

This will mark Shinsuke’s first match since a Live Event in Fresno, California on June 24th and only Styles’ second match back after working a very limited schedule for a number of weeks to heal up from nagging injuries.

Shinsuke had recently sent out a tweet directed at his Extreme Rules opponent, Jeff Hardy, indicating that his return would be imminent:
