WWE News: SmackDown Live Event Results From St. Louis, Missouri (7/21/18)

The WWE was on the road this weekend with the RAW brand in Lexington, Kentucky Saturday evening (check out results here). Meanwhile, SmackDown Live rolled into St. Louis, Missouri, the home of ‘The Viper’ Randy Orton.

Even though ‘The Apex Predator’ did not have a match, fans in attendance still got to see their hometown hero, plus loads of action featuring the blue brand’s top Superstars. WWE Champion AJ Styles defended his title in a Triple Threat main event, the SmackDown Tag Team Titles were on the line, plus Daniel Bryan went one-on-one with longtime rival The Miz. Below are the results:

• SmackDown Tag Title Triple Threat: The Bludgeon Brothers retained over Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson and The Usos
• Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas defeated Sin Cara
• Asuka, Becky Lynch & Nikki Cross defeated Lana & The IIconics
• United States Title: Shinsuke Nakamura retained over Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton came out after and attacked Hardy
• Daniel Bryan defeated The Miz
• The New Day (Big E & Kofi Kingston) defeated The Bar
• SmackDown Women’s Title: Carmella retained over Naomi
• WWE Title Triple Threat: AJ Styles retained over Rusev and Samoa Joe
