WWE News: Stipulation Added To Title Match At Extreme Rules

Tonight’s final edition of WWE SmackDown Live in Manchester, New Hampshire prior to Extreme Rules pay-per-view in Pittsburgh saw lots of action that could influence momentum going into Sunday’s event. In a rematch from last week with the added Lumberjack Match stipulation, Asuka defeated James Ellsworth by making him tapout to the Asuka Lock, as the rest of the SmackDown Live Women’s Division surrounded the ring.

After the bell, SmackDown Women’s Champion Carmella took it upon herself to try and sneak attack ‘The Empress Of Tomorrow’, giving Ellsworth the opening to spray some type of substance in Asuka’s eyes. This allowed ‘The Princess Of Staten Island’ to make her final statement before Extreme Rules, leaving her challenger for Sunday laying in the middle of the squared circle.

Later in the evening, it was revealed that SmackDown Live General Manager Paige had taken notice and now added a stipulation to the SmackDown Women’s Championship match at Extreme Rules, as James Ellsworth will no longer be able to get involved because he will be suspended above the ring inside of a shark cage.
