WWE Rumors: Announced Mae Young Classic Competitor Now Out?
The WWE has been flooding news wires recently with announcements on who will be competing in the second annual Mae Young Classic, which is set to begin tapings at Full Sail University on August 8th and 9th. With roughly one-third of the 32-woman field for the tournament now set, one of the previously announced competitors may no longer be competing.
Yesterday, WWE announced four more names in the returning Mercedes Martinez and Mia Yim, plus Killer Kelly (who recently competed at the United Kingdom Championship Tournament) and Crystal (check that story out here). It now looks like Crystal has been removed as WWE.com has updated their announcement with all mention of her no longer there. Additionally, Cathy Kelley has detailed a number of the recently revealed participants for WWE Now with no mention of Crystal:
Crystal, the 24-year old, two-year pro, was discovered by the company on a scouting trip to Southeast Asia last year.
