Kenny Omega Leads This Year’s PWI 500, Top Ten Revealed

Pro Wrestling Illusatrated’s annual ‘PWI 500’ has finally been revealed today and for the first time in the lists history, non-WWE performers come in at number one on consecutive years.

Following Kazuchika Okada taking the top spot last year, the reigning IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega slides in at number one this year after having great matches with the likes of the aforementioned Okada, Chris Jericho, Cody and a host of others. Omega moves up from number five last year and this is also the first time ‘The Cleaner’ has stood on top of the annual list, as voted on by the editors and writers of Pro Wrestling Illustrated for the last 28 years.

While New Japan Pro Wrestling has held the top position for two years in a row, the remainder of the top ten is still primarily dominated by WWE Superstars:

1. Kenny Omega
2. AJ Styles
3. Kazuchika Okada
4. Brock Lesnar
5. Seth Rollins
6. Braun Strowman
7. Roman Reigns
8. Cody
9. Tetsuya Naito
10. The Miz
