WWE News: Aerial Monroe & Two Others Now Official For Mae Young Classic

After it was revealed earlier this week that Madison (Ashley) Rayne, Xia Brookside and Priscilla Kelly have all been confirmed for this year’s second annual Mae Young Classic (read about that here), today three more names have been released.

Today, WWE has announced that joining the 32-woman field will be Aerial Monroe, Vanessa Kraven and Hiroyo Matsumoto, bringing the confirmed total of names to 24. Monroe is a three-year veteran who trained under her husband, current WWE Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander. Matsumoto, known as the ‘Lady Destroyer’, got her start in 2006 and has competed for STARDOM, Sendai Girls’ Pro Wrestling and SHIMMER during the course of her career. Vanessa Kraven is a 14-year pro out of Montreal, Quebec, and is a former one-time SHIMMER Tag Team Champion alongside current IMPACT Wrestling Knockout Tessa Blanchard.
