WWE News: Hip Hop Artist Wale To Join 205 Live Commentary Team
For years, fans of the WWE have often seen a lot of crossover between mainstream celebrities and the company, first starting all the way back at the inaugural WrestleMania with the inclusion of Liberace, Muhammad Ali, Billy Martin and others taking part in the event. While celebrity involvement became a staple of WrestleMania, it also played a part on Monday Night RAW as well with the brand utilizing guest hosts on a weekly basis from Bob Barker to Snoop Dogg and many others.
One such celebrity that is a big fan of professional wrestling is hip hop artist Wale, often attending WWE events and even playing the role of a judge last year on SmackDown Live for a freestyle rap battle between The New Day and The Usos. Today, WWE has announced that Wale is about to get more involved as he will join the commentary team for tonight’s episode of 205 Live:

Grammy-nominated rapper Wale will join Vic Joseph, Nigel McGuinness and Percy Watsontonight on commentary during WWE 205 Live, WWE.com can confirm!
A longtime WWE fan, Wale is no stranger to the WWE Universe, having hosted a rap battle between The Usos and The New Day in 2017.
