WWE News: Mixed Tag Announced For SummerSlam Kickoff

WWE’s SummerSlam is quickly approaching on Sunday, August 19th from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York and the card continues to round out.

Over on the blue brand, it’s been weeks of back-and-forth now on social media and television between Lana and Zelina Vega, which has of course dragged Rusev and Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas into the fray. The last two weeks, the ladies have looked to settle their issues inside the squared circle with matches on SmackDown Live. Unfortunately for Rusev and Lana, some mistakes made by Aiden English have cost ‘The Ravishing Russian’ victories.

Now it’s time for the guys to officially get involved as WWE has announced today that Rusev and Lana will meet Zelina Vega and Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas in a Mixed Tag Team match on the SummerSlam Kickoff. The main card for SummerSlam will begin next Sunday at 7PM EST, but you can catch all the action from the Kickoff at 6PM EST live on the WWE Network:
