WWE News: NXT Live Event Results From Lowell, Massachusetts (8/16/18)

We’re just a day away now from tomorrow night’s big NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, an event that a lot of members of the WWE Universe are looking forward to more than they are Sunday’s SummerSlam.

Before we get there though, the Superstars of NXT were in Lowell, Massachusetts for a Live Event that saw some big match-ups. Prior to defending his NXT North American Title tomorrow night, Adam Cole was challenged by EC3, NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa faced a mystery opponent, plus Oney Lorcan returned to action, as well as a TakeOver preview with Moustache Mountain taking on The Undisputed Era. Below are the results:

• War Raiders defeated Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan
• Bianca Belair defeated Deonna Purrazzo
• Lars Sullivan defeated Zack Gibson
• NXT North American Title: Adam Cole retained over EC3
• NXT Tag Team Titles: The Undisputed Era retained over Moustache Mountain
• WWE United Kingdom Title: Pete Dunne retained over The Velveteen Dream
• Dakota Kai & Kairi Sane defeated Lacey Evans & Shayna Baszler
• Non-Title: Tommaso Ciampa defeated Dominik Dijakovic
