WWE News: SmackDown Live Event Results From Halifax, Nova Scotia (8/25/18)

This week’s WWE programming will be much like last week’s in that it will all emanate from the same building, the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Before we get to Tuesday’s all new edition of SmackDown Live though, the blue brand was north of the border in Halifax, Nova Scotia last night for a Live Event.

Fans in attendance were treated to some great action, including a SummerSlam rematch as Samoa Joe challenged AJ Styles for the WWE Championship, new SmackDown Tag Champs The New Day defended against The Bar, plus Shinsuke Nakamura faced two challengers in a Triple Threat for the United States Title. Below are the results:

• SmackDown Tag Team Titles: The New Day (Big E & Kofi Kingston) retained over The Bar
• Rusev & Lana defeated Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas & Zelina Vega
• Shelton Benjamin defeated Tye Dillinger
• SmackDown Women’s Title: Charlotte Flair retained over Carmella after interference by Becky Lynch
• Asuka & Charlotte Flair defeated Becky Lynch & Carmella
• Karl Anderson w/Luke Gallows defeated Harper
• United States Title Triple Threat: Shinsuke Nakamura retained over Jeff Hardy & The Miz
• WWE Title: AJ Styles retained over Samoa Joe
