WWE News: SmackDown Live Event Results From Peterborough, Ontario (8/27/18)

While Monday Night RAW was on the air last night from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the Superstars of WWE’s blue brand were wrapping up their Live Event tour in nearby Peterborough, Ontario.

Much like the rest of the weekend, the card remained mainly the same as Carmella challenged Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, The Bar looked to dethrone new SmackDown Tag Champs The New Day, plus fans were treated to a SummerSlam rematch as Samoe Joe tried to capture the WWE Title from AJ Styles. • SmackDown Tag Titles: The New Day retained over The Bar
• Shelton Benjamin defeated Tye Dillinger
• Rusev & Lana defeated Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas & Zelina Vega
• SmackDown Women’s Title: Charlotte Flair retained over Carmella by DQ when Becky Lynch interfered
• Asuka & Charlotte Flair defeated Becky Lynch & Carmella
• Karl Anderson w/Luke Gallows defeated Harper
• United States Title Triple Threat: Shinsuke Nakamura retained over Jeff Hardy & The Miz
• WWE Title: AJ Styles retained over Samoa Joe
