WWE Rumors: Two SmackDown Live Superstars Reforming An Alliance?

WWE SmackDown Live Superstar Naomi has certainly had a rough go of it in recent weeks, starting when ‘The Glow Queen’ engaged in a war of words on Twitter with Peyton Royce and Billie Kay, The IIconics.

Last week on the blue brand, Naomi fell victim to outside interference by Billie Kay, leading to a loss at the hands of Peyton. We saw more of the same this week when ‘The Glow Queen’ got her chance at revenge, only this time it was Peyton creating a distraction that gave Billie the victory. After last night’s loss, Naomi took to Twitter with the following:

This has now led to some speculation that Naomi may be reforming an old allegiance with another SmackDown Live Superstar, Tamina Snuka. Tamina has been out of action since January, last competing in the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble before undergoing surgery for a torn rotator cuff. While there have been little updates on her recovery, Tamina indicated on Instagram back in late-May that she was getting back into shape for her return:

Previously, Naomi and Tamina were aligned starting back in 2014 after Snuka returned from a torn ACL. The duo remained together through the formation of the group Team B.A.D. along with Sasha Banks, but were split when Tamina suffered an injury in May 2016. At this time, there is still no concrete timetable for Snuka’s return.
