ROH News: Tenille Dashwood Injured, To Undergo Shoulder Surgery

It has certainly been a rough few months for Ring Of Honor star Tenille Dashwood, who had to take some time off recently which she later revealed was due to a skin condition that had worsened (check that out here).

Of course, Tenille would return to action shortly after and this past Friday, she challenged Sumie Sakai for the Women Of Honor World Championship at Death Before Dishonor. Unfortunately, Dashwood would fall short and then last night at Ring Of Honor’s television tapings, she would announce her string of bad luck has continued.

Tenille would come to the ring to cut a promo with her arm in a sling, revealing she would again be taking time off as she needs shoulder surgery after working with the injury for the past six months. While some fans felt that it may be part of an angle, PWInsider has confirmed today that it is in fact legitimate.

Currently, specifics on the injury and surgery are not known. Additionally, when the surgery will take place and how long she will be out of action is also to be determined. Stick with The Chairshot for future updates on Dashwood’s surgery and recovery.

Additionally, it’s been reported that ROH has offered Dashwood a contract and the expectation is she will be signing shortly despite her injury status.
