Triple H Reportedly Attended Recent IMPACT/WWE Meeting

As has been noted, officials for both WWE and IMPACT Wrestling met recently at WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut (read the initial report here) before IMPACT headed off to Mexico City for television tapings.

Originally, it was said that the meeting was just to get “both sides in the same room” and had nothing to do with a possible sale of IMPACT’s video library. However, a conflicting report was later released that stated IMPACT was seeking a deal to rent out content to the WWE Network (read more about that here). Additionally, initial reports informed us that both Ed Nordholm and Scott D’Amore of IMPACT were in attendance, but that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon or Triple H were not.

Now, another report via The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is stating it has confirmed that Triple H was indeed at the meeting, rather than just members of his team on his behalf. It’s also being said that WWE were actually the ones to reach out to IMPACT as opposed to the other way around, but exact details on the substance of the meeting are still scarce. It should be noted however, that the meeting was said to be positive with sources from both sides agreeing that the two companies are no longer “enemies”.
