WWE News: Cruiserweight Title Match Official For Next Week’s 205 Live

The WWE Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander’s title reign could be in jeopardy with him being scheduled to defend at Super Show-Down on October 6th, since it will be in the challenger Buddy Murphy’s hometown of Melbourne, Australia.

However, lately ‘The Age Of Alexander’ has been tested by a man he already defeated with the title on the line back at SummerSlam, Drew Gulak. Of course, that match took place on the Kickoff and the champion merely escaped with a victory by using a surprise roll-up. Gulak has been more aggressive than ever since and is dead set on starting to make a “better 205 Live” by taking Cedric’s title, continuing his pursuit while using the services of Jack Gallagher and The Brian Kendrick to outnumber the champion.

Last night on 205 Live, the main event featured Gulak and Gallagher taking on Alexander and Akira Tozawa in what would turn out to be a pivotal win in making Drew’s case for a rematch. Now, with Alexander’s title defense against Murphy looming, it was announced by General Manager Drake Maverick that Gulak will finally get another shot at the Cruiserweight Championship next week on 205 Live (you can also check out Mitchell’s 205 Live Report here):
