WWE News: Details On Brock Lesnar’s HIAC Appearance, Future Status
The sting of Brock Lesnar’s surprise return last night at WWE’s Hell In A Cell is still inflamed for many members of the WWE Universe today after he interrupted the Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman Hell In A Cell match, leaving the show’s main event to end in a No Contest.
Lesnar’s appearance was of course not advertised and something a lot of fans didn’t see coming, as it’s been the thought now since before SummerSlam that ‘The Beast Incarnate’ would be off prepping for his UFC return in 2019. According to Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Brock showing up at Hell In A Cell was not a last-minute decision by WWE and had been the play for a while. As for the finish of last night’s match, that was also in fact the plan for some time now.
Additionally, Lesnar is not finished with WWE just yet before going to the UFC as he will be stepping back into the squared circle on November 2nd. Of course, this is the next big WWE show in Saudi Arabia that was revealed back in late-August (read about that here). No opponent for Brock is known at this time as WWE has yet to officially announce the event.
