WWE News: Mixed Match Challenge Returning September 18th
After the success of WWE’s inaugural Mixed Match Challenge tournament on Facebook Watch this year, which was ended on April 3rd and was won by Asuka and The Miz, there had been talk about the company bringing the concept back once again.
While some believed it might not happen until 2019, today WWE has announced that the Mixed Match Challenge will return to Facebook Watch on Tuesday, September 18th at 10PM EST and air weekly. This means that 205 Live will once again be pushed back until after each week’s Mixed Match Challenge, which will include two matches per week. The tournament winners will once again receive $100,000 towards the charity of their choice and although there are a number of teams pairing up once again, the lineup will also feature some new tandems. Here’s a look at the five teams from RAW and five teams from SmackDown Live:
