WWE News: NXT Live Event Results From Detroit, Michigan (9/9/18)

After shows in Buffalo, Pittsburgh and then last night in Warren, Ohio, the portion of the WWE NXT roster that is away from Florida this weekend finished up their tour tonight in Detroit, Michigan.

The event saw a blend of matches from previous dates on this string of weekend shows as Ricochet teamed with War Raiders to face The Undisputed Era in the main event, Tommaso Ciampa put the NXT Championship on the line against Dominik Dijakovic, plus Nikki Cross partnered up with Candice LeRae for tag team action. Below are the results:

• Heavy Machinery defeated The Forgotten Sons (Steve Cutler & Wesley Blake)
• Dakota Kai defeated Aliyah
• Tyler Breeze defeated Dan Matha
• Marcel Barthel comes to the ring for a promo, but instead gets laid out by Lars Sullivan
• Johnny Gargano defeated Lars Sullivan by DQ
• Candice LeRae & Nikki Cross defeated Shayna Baszler & Vanessa Borne
• NXT Title: Tommaso Ciampa retained over Dominik Dijakovic
• Ricochet & War Raiders defeated The Undisputed Era
